I came to see Dr. Peacock roughly 8 years ago. I have had an issue with very dry eyes ( burning, blurriness, itchiness and sensitivity to sunlight) since my 30’s. I went to countless doctors trying many different medications with no success. I got to the point where it was so uncomfortable for me to go outside for extended periods of time in the summer months so I could never go on a holiday. Back in the 80’s I lost my eyesight for 6 weeks from a new medication for my Lupus condition. At that time I went back and forth to an eye specialist every other day trying every medication to get my eyesight back. Following that experience I tried blood serum drops and it was working but nothing was ever helping with the dryness. That’s when I found Dr. Peacock, he recommended the IPL therapy for me. After having this series of treatments I could read a book, sit out in the garden, hand quilting and do arts and crafts projects. I haven’t been able to do any of these things for years. I now thank Dr. Peacock and all the wonderful staff with all my heart.

I broke the frame on my glasses which I need to be able to see the computer screen for work. They got me in for an appointment the next morning and I got a new prescription, found new frames, and got my new glasses ordered in an hour. I still needed a solution for the next 10 days until new glasses came in. They were able to find an inexpensive frame in the store that my current lens fit with a little shaving. I was back at work and able to see the computer screen that afternoon. Wonderful!

I started going to Dr Amarnath in 2013 & was so glad to have found him. He is an amazing, professional, kind & caring, and very knowledgeable doctor who really cares about your well being. I have suffered for years with dry eyes which has also caused me many headaches. The burning in my eyes was totally taking over my life. He introduced me to Intense Pulsed Light Therapy.
After having four treatments I have had a year of my eyes feeling the most comfortable they have felt in years. I just had one maintenance treatment this week & am looking forward to another awesome year.
